OUR PASSION

Freddie Walker has many childhood memories of him racing around the Malaysian plantations; playing in nature and being curious of the world around him. As his father was a plantation manager to a very lush tropical land, he was shaped since young to have an appreciation and wonder for nature and its surroundings- What they are made of, where do these plants originate from and how are they sharing space and life with the Fauna living amongst them- these are questions that he still carries close to his heart- and also the reason for his advocacy in committing to create cohesive landscape finishes; bringing concrete spaces to life.

One of his personal passions and also lifelong dream is in curating environments that mimics the natural habitat in order to stimulate the interconnectivity between urbanisation and the wild; a specialty which he coins as ‘Junglescape’. He sees landscaping architecture as a weapon against urban encroachment and believes that a good landscape layout that ties in with nature is like a good cup of coffee in the morning or a truly relaxing holiday- it brings serenity and peace to the users of the space. Seeing how his projects bring happiness to his clients are what motivates him to continue creating his works.
